Corpus Christi Camera Club

Welcome to the Corpus Christi Camera Club web site!

Corpus Christi is located on the Texas Gulf Coast. We have sandy beaches, beautiful sunrises and awesome sunsets. It has been said the we have only two seasons here, hot and cold.

The Corpus Christi Camera Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month except for June and December. Our club year starts in June and ends in May. From September to May we meet at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History located at 1900 N. Chaparral. In July and August we meet at the Art Center of Corpus Christi located on the bayfront at 100 Shoreline. The meetings start at 6:30 p.m.

We hold monthly competitions among the members in color slides, color prints, and black and white prints. We also have "how-to" programs from time to time. Some of the programs that we have scheduled for the coming year are Macro Photography and Painting With Light.
The club membership varies from forty to fifty members. They come from all walks of life and have different levels of photographic experiences. The one thing that is common among everyone is their love for photography.

We invite you to look through our web site and hopefully you will attend one of our meetings.

Next Corpus Christi Camera Club Meeting will be held on May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History located at 1900 N Chaparral.
This month's meeting will have a Open Competition B&W only, and a Closed competition on Painting With Light.
So drop by for a visit.

We will be meeting at the Art Center of Corpus Christi located at 100 Shoreline during the summer. The meeting dates are June 26, July 24, and August 28 with the starting time being 6:30 p.m.
